I’m Angela. Formerly Smith, now Jones, returning to Smith. I’m a freelance public relations and marketing specialist and I love to write, so I started a blog. Sometimes I’m brutally honest about my life, but I would rather be real then pretend to be perfect.
I’m the middle child. The black sheep. I know how to use the Oxford comma. I live in Denver. I’ve lived in New York and L.A. and I’ve worked a major red carpet or two. I love Skittles, Madonna, the 1970’s, the 1980’s and Trivial Pursuit.
The Good – I’m mom to an 11 year-old sassy, witty, smart, beautiful girl. I’m Generation X and proud of it. I’m fiercely loyal {ummm, to a fault, so maybe this belongs in The Bad!?}
The Bad – My daughter is a tween. She just started middle school. We’ve figured it out.
The Ugly – I’m divorced and trying to navigate my new life. I like to say I’m Carrie Bradshaw meets the mom from E.T. Part single in the city, part hot mess single mom. Actually, more of the later, but I do have an impressive shoe collection. I cuss like a sailor. I can have down days and I’m not afraid to write about them.
Oh, and this one time, at band camp… No, but really, this one time I was mentioned in the New York Times. Because sometimes I’m funny.
xoxo Angela
